As expected, we are having a great time with the Shaws during their visit. As a bonus, we have all been treated to exquisite spring-like weather during the day. We toured the cathedral today while the kids were in school and also stopped by The Church of Salvador for a quick look. They are now halfway through their guided culinary tour of Sevilla. The first night we ate at Zelai in the centro, and night two was at Vineria San Telmo in barrio Santa Cruz. Two more nights of delicious tapas and wine before they have to jump the pond and head back.
After touring the churches today, we had a quick lunch and then had to pick up the girls from school. They returned to school after a two week holiday break. We gave the Shaws a map and set them loose in the city. My challenge to Grant was to find a pair of Roman columns well hidden in a maze-like section of the Santa Cruz neighborhood. We shall see how he fared locating the elusive columns when I see him later tonight. Looking forward to a few more nights enjoying Sevilla with the Shaws. You never know, we may just break out the mustaches.
